Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nightline?

Nightline is a telephone support and information service run for students by trained student volunteers. The phone lines open between 8pm and 8am every night of term, offering confidential listening and information to all students studying in Leeds.

Nightline aims to offer students the opportunity to talk through any issues, problems or worries anonymously and in confidence. The Nightline volunteer's goal is to provide a supportive listening ear without judging, patronising or advising the caller - we just give you space to talk.

The information service supplies info on anything relevant to student life, from exam times and locations to that all important late night pizza. Whatever you need to know we'll do our best to help.
